What support will I get?
You will be supported by qualified and experienced horticulturists with a passion for their craft. You’ll receive guidance and support which includes online workshops, 1-2-1s and individual support. To complete the Award, you must be 18+, hold a Level 2 horticultural qualification or an academic equivalent and have a minimum of three months voluntary or paid practical horticultural experience in a formal workplace.

If you don’t hold a Level 2 horticultural qualification or an academic equivalent, but have a minimum of two years professional horticultural experience, you may be accepted onto the course after completing an additional written task so as to demonstrate suitable academic standard of writing.

As this is a self-directed research-based course, and not a practical course, students are required to draw on their existing horticultural knowledge and experience.
